Modpack server hosting, one click
Pick a pack — we install every mod, config and datapack automatically. Your modded server is online in minutes, with 4GB RAM included in the free trial.
Choose from Modrinth and CurseForge packs. Your selection is remembered through signup so the first server auto-installs it.
Every mod, config, datapack and the matching Fabric/Forge/NeoForge loader is set up for you — no manual jar juggling, no client/server mismatch.
Your modded server boots on our low-latency network with DDoS protection, real-time console, off-site backups and a free .fmc.pw address.
How modpack hosting works here
Every pack below is server-hostable — we index Modrinth and CurseForge, keep only packs that actually ship a server version for Fabric, Forge or NeoForge, and wire each one to our installer. Pick a pack and FadeHost downloads every mod, config and datapack, selects the matching loader and Minecraft version, and boots the server — no jar juggling, no version mismatches, no FTP required (though you get full file access anyway).
Your players install the same pack in their launcher (Modrinth App, CurseForge or Prism) and join your address. If a pack misbehaves — usually a client-only mod that the pack authors forgot to flag — our installer already strips the known offenders, and support fixes the rest.
Pokémon & creature packs
Cobblemon and Pixelmon turn Minecraft into a Pokémon adventure — light enough that 4GB runs a friend group comfortably.
Kitchen-sink packs
Hundreds of mods, every playstyle at once. The big ones want 8GB+ once your world grows.
RPG & adventure
Quests, bosses, classes and progression — closer to a new game than a mod list.
Tech, skyblock & expert
Automation trees and gated progression, from Create contraptions to void-world starts.
Horror & hardcore
Packs built to scare you or kill you — bring friends, and maybe keep backups on.
How much RAM does your pack need?

Modpack hosting FAQ
- How much RAM does a modpack server need?
- Light packs (Cobblemon, most Fabric performance packs) run well on 4GB. Mid-size kitchen-sink packs (Better MC, Prominence II) want 6GB. Heavy 300+ mod packs (All the Mods 10, RLCraft, GregTech lines) need 8GB or more, especially past 5-10 players. You can add RAM at $1/GB anytime with no downtime, so it is safe to start at 4GB and scale up if the console reports lag.
- Do I have to install the mods myself?
- No. Pick a pack and FadeHost installs every mod, library, config and datapack, and selects the correct mod loader and Minecraft version automatically. Your first server is created with the pack already applied.
- Which mod loaders and versions do you support?
- Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across every Minecraft version each pack ships for. The panel picks the loader and version the pack requires; you can also change versions or builds yourself later.
- Can I add or remove mods after the pack is installed?
- Yes. You get full SFTP and a file manager, so you can drop extra mods into the mods folder, tweak configs, or remove mods you do not want. Client-side-only mods that crash a server can be removed the same way.
- How do my players join a modded server?
- Players install the same pack in their launcher (Modrinth App, CurseForge or Prism), then connect to your server address. The server and client must run the same pack version — the address and version are shown in your panel.
- Is there a free trial for modpack hosting?
- Yes — a 7-day free trial with no credit card, including enough RAM to run most packs. Start a server, install a pack and invite players before paying anything.
- Can I switch to a different modpack later?
- Yes. Create additional servers for other packs (RAM is shared across your servers), or reinstall a different pack on an existing server. Back up your world first if you want to keep it.
