Terms of Service

Last updated: August 18, 2026

1. The service

FadeHost provides hosting for game servers, virtual private servers, databases and Discord bots, managed through our control panel. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Your account

  • You're responsible for your account and everything that happens under it. Keep your credentials safe and enable two-factor authentication.
  • You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter this agreement.
  • Team members you invite act on your behalf; their actions on your servers are your responsibility.

3. Billing

  • Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles payment data, tax collection and invoicing; your purchase is also subject to Paddle's terms.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time - your service runs to the end of the paid period.
  • Prices may change; existing subscriptions are notified before a change affects them.
  • Refunds are covered by our refund policy, including a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first purchase.
  • If a subscription lapses unpaid, servers stop and data is retained for a reasonable grace period before deletion.

4. Server boosts

  • Anyone can "boost" a server from its public join page. A boost is a voluntary one-time payment that supports that server's hosting - it is not a purchase of goods, a deposit, or an investment.
  • The boost amount, excluding tax, is added to the server owner's FadeHost account as hosting credit and automatically reduces their next renewal. Credit has no cash value, can't be withdrawn or transferred, and unused credit rolls to following renewals.
  • FadeHost retains 5% of each boost's pre-tax amount to cover payment processing and platform costs; the remaining 95% is credited to the server owner.
  • Names, messages and usernames submitted with a boost are shown to the server owner and may appear on the join page and inside the game; keep them civil. We may remove content and refuse boosts that violate section 5.
  • Boosts to a server that closes before the credit is used remain on the owner's account. Fraudulent or charged-back boosts are reversed, including any credit already granted.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use FadeHost to:

  • break the law, infringe others' rights, or distribute malware, stolen content or CSAM;
  • attack, scan or disrupt networks (DDoS, port scanning, spam, phishing, proxies/VPN exit nodes on free plans);
  • mine cryptocurrency or run workloads unrelated to the plan's purpose that degrade shared hardware;
  • resell the service without our written agreement;
  • circumvent resource limits, abuse free tiers or trials with multiple accounts, or interfere with other customers' servers.

We may suspend or terminate service that violates these rules, immediately where the platform or other customers are at risk.

6. Your content and data

  • Your worlds, files and databases remain yours. We access them only to operate the service, help you when you ask, or investigate abuse.
  • Backups are provided as a convenience; keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable.
  • After cancellation or termination, data is deleted after a reasonable grace period.
  • Public join pages show the information you enable there (status, players, boosters). You control those toggles.

7. Service level

We target 99.9% uptime and real humans answer support. Maintenance windows, upstream provider failures and events outside our control are excluded. The service is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law; our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the panel or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms: support@fadehost.com - a human reads every message.
