Game Server Hosting
Icarus
Host an Icarus dedicated server so your prospects stay online around the clock. Friends drop in and out mid-mission, progress is saved server-side, and the last prospect resumes automatically after every restart.
$9.50/monthfor the 8GB Icarus needs
Plans start at $2.50/month, then $1 per extra GB. It's the same price for every game we host — you're paying for RAM, not the title — so one subscription runs Icarus today and anything else tomorrow.See how pricing works

How to make a Icarus server
Icarus was built around drop-in sessions, and a dedicated server turns it into a persistent world your friends can join any time.
- 1
Create your server
Start the free 7-day trial (no credit card) or pick a plan — 8 GB runs a standard prospect; long open-world sessions like 12-16 GB. Then hit Create Server in the panel, choose Icarus and your region, and the server installs itself. Your server's address and port appear on the server page as soon as it's up.
- 2
Launch a prospect
Set a join password and admin password in the Settings tab, then start a prospect from inside the game. The server resumes your last prospect automatically after every restart, and all progress saves server-side.
- 3
Join the server
In Icarus open the dedicated servers list, search for your server name and enter the join password. Everyone lands in the active prospect and can drop in or out mid-mission.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do prospects work on a dedicated server?
The server holds your prospects. A player launches one from inside the game, everyone else joins it, and progress saves on the server, so the mission continues even when the person who started it logs off.
How much RAM does an Icarus server need?
8 GB covers a typical group on a standard prospect. Long sessions on the big open-world maps with 6-8 players are happier with 12-16 GB.
Can I restrict who can launch or delete prospects?
Yes. Set an admin password in the panel, and use the server config to limit launching and deleting prospects to admins. The settings file is editable over SFTP and survives restarts.
