Conan Exiles server requirements
What the server needs before you pick a size. 8 GB of RAM is the minimum.
- RAM
- 8 GB minimum. Every extra gigabyte is $1 a month and can be added or removed later without a reinstall.
- CPU
- Heavy: Unreal Engine with big maps. 8 to 12 GB and a fast core.
- Disk
- The server is over 30 GB; saves are a few GB.
- Ports
- Game, query and RCON ports, assigned for you.
- Mods and plugins
- Steam Workshop mods by ID in the settings; players need the same mod list, in the same order.
- Your existing world
- Upload the game.db save; keep the game version matching.
How to make a Conan Exiles server
Conan Exiles runs on dedicated servers better than anywhere else: persistent building, purges on your schedule, and your own rates.

Create your server
Start the free 7-day trial (no credit card) or pick a plan. 8 GB is the realistic floor for the UE5 Enhanced build. Then hit Create Server in the panel, choose Conan Exiles and your region, and the server installs itself. Your server's address and port appear on the server page as soon as it's up.

One world, both maps
The Enhanced edition merges the Exiled Lands and Isle of Siptah into a single world, so there is no map picker. Set server name, password, slots and rates from the Settings tab; your key .ini settings survive restarts and manual edits.

Join the server
In Conan Exiles choose Online Play, then Direct Connect with the address and port from your server page, or find the server name in the browser once it's listed.

Regions and latency
Pick Europe or North America when you create the server. North America has nodes on the east coast and the west coast, Europe in the west, all on NVMe storage with DDoS protection in front. Players on the same continent as the server see 20 to 60 ms, which Conan Exiles handles well; a group split across the Atlantic should host where most of them are. Changing region later is a backup, a new server in the other region, and a restore.

- Is this the new Conan Exiles Enhanced (UE5) version?
- Yes. Servers run the Enhanced build Funcom shipped in May 2026, which merges Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah into a single world on Unreal Engine 5. Your clients need the current game version to join.
- How much RAM does a Conan Exiles server need?
- The Enhanced build is heavier than the old UE4 server: 8 GB is the working minimum and 12 GB is recommended for 10+ players or long-lived worlds.
