How each one bills
Kinetic sells per-server plans by RAM. The gigabyte is priced close to ours, but everything is a plan: the smallest server is a full plan, an empty server bills the same, and a second server is a second plan.

Where the difference shows
Kinetic's gigabyte price is close to ours. What it does not have: a free 2 GB server, a $2 server that sleeps, RAM that moves up and down by the day inside one pool, and the importer, crossplay toggle, crash doctor and a first database included.
- A friends server is empty most of the day. Here it sleeps and wakes on the next join, and the Lite tier prices that at $2 a month. A plan elsewhere bills the same whether anyone plays or not.
- A second world, a test server for plugins, a proxy: another $2.50 slot in the same pool, not another plan and another invoice.
- RAM moves by the gigabyte on any day. Take 6 GB for a weekend event and go back to 4 GB on Monday, paying the difference for the days you used it.
- What breaks at night gets diagnosed. The crash doctor reads the log and names the mod or the setting, the Copilot answers from the real console, and the importer, the crossplay toggle and login protection are part of the panel rather than add-ons.
