Every price, allowance and limit, on one page
The numbers behind the plans, written to be quoted: what a server costs, what the free tier includes, what a bot or app gets at each tier, where servers run and how billing works. All prices in US dollars; a year costs ten months.
Minecraft and game servers
One catalog for Minecraft Java, Bedrock and 34 other games. A server is a slot plus the memory you give it; everything else is an add-on you switch on per server.
| Item | Price | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| FadeHost Server (slot) | $2.50/mo or $25/yr | One server, 1 GB RAM, 30 GB NVMe storage, daily off-site backups, DDoS protection, its own fadehost.gg address and a free .fmc.pw subdomain |
| Extra RAM | $1 per GB per month | Shared pool across your servers; up to 50 GB on one server |
| Extra storage | $1 per 10 GB per month; packs of 50 GB for $4.50 and 100 GB for $8 | Shared pool, the packs are the same pool in bigger units |
| Lite server | $2/mo or $20/yr | 2 GB RAM, 30 GB storage, 20 player slots, daily backups; sleeps 15 minutes after the last player leaves and wakes on join |
| Dedicated IP | $3.99/mo | An IPv4 of the server's own, claimed in its Network tab |
| Backup storage | $2 per 10 GB per month | 6-hour backup intervals, custom backup times, on-demand backups |
| Automation pack | $4/mo | 10 automations: scheduled commands, restarts, triggers |
| Community website | $3/mo | A public site for the server at join.fadehost.net/name or your domain: live map, leaderboard, join info |
| Managed server | $9/mo | A FadeHost engineer keeps one server updated and running |
| Extra self-hosted node | $3/mo | Your own machine in the panel; the first node is free |
Included with every Minecraft Java server at no charge: the live world map with chunk pruning, login protection, the crash doctor, the Copilot, Bedrock crossplay, SFTP and the file manager, scheduled tasks, team access, one-click modpacks from CurseForge, Modrinth and FTB, and the importer that pulls a server from another host.
Example: a 4 GB Minecraft server that never sleeps is $2.50 + 3 × $1 = $5.50 a month, or $55 a year.
The free tier and the trial
| Free Minecraft server | 7-day trial | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $0, no card | $0, no card |
| What it is | One Minecraft Java server per verified account, on the latest Paper | The full paid product for a week |
| RAM | 2 GB | 4 GB, or 8 GB when you pick a modpack |
| Storage | 10 GB | 30 GB |
| Player slots | 5 | Your choice |
| When empty | Sleeps after one minute, wakes on join in 20 to 30 seconds | Stays on |
| Regions | Europe or North America | Any |
| Backups | None | Daily |
| How long | As long as people play: a reminder after 7 days without a join, recycled after 10 | 7 days, then it ends with no charge unless you add a card |
| Capacity | Limited; slots free up as idle servers are recycled | Always available |
Moving from free to Lite or to an always-on server keeps the server, its world, its address and its settings.
Bots and apps
Discord, Telegram and WhatsApp bots, web apps, APIs and static sites deployed from a GitHub repository. Node.js, Python, Bun, Deno, Go, Java, PHP, Ruby and static sites are detected from the repository.

Regions
- Europe West (France)
- Canada East (Montreal)
- USA West (Oregon)
- Asia Pacific (Singapore)
Game servers, bots, apps and databases can be placed in any of the four; the free Minecraft server is placed in Europe or North America, whichever is closer. Your own hardware, anywhere, can join the panel as a self-hosted node.
Billing rules
- Prices are in US dollars. VAT or sales tax is added where the law requires it and shown before you pay.
- Monthly or yearly; a year costs ten months.
- Payment by card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay, handled by Paddle, the merchant of record.
- Changes to a subscription are prorated to the day; adding a gigabyte in the middle of the month costs the remaining fraction.
- Cancel from the panel at any time; the service runs to the end of the paid period. Stopping a server does not cancel it; canceling does not delete the world until the retention period ends.
- The 7-day trial and the free tier need no card. A trial without a card simply ends.
- Affiliates earn 20 to 30 percent of what the customers they refer pay, for as long as they pay.
The company
FadeHost has hosted game servers since 2011. Support is by ticket from the panel and on Discord, answered by people. Documentation lives at fadehost.com/docs, with every page also available as Markdown, and every account exposes an MCP server so an AI assistant can manage the servers with the owner's permission.
Frequently asked questions
What does a 4 GB Minecraft server cost?
$5.50 a month: the $2.50 slot with its 1 GB plus three extra gigabytes at $1 each. Yearly it is $55. An 8 GB server is $9.50 a month.
Is there a setup fee or a minimum term?
No setup fee and no minimum term. Monthly plans renew monthly and can be canceled from the panel at any time.
Is anything really free?
Yes. One Minecraft Java server with 2 GB that sleeps when empty, one bot or app with 256 MB that stays on, and public plugin builds. None of them asks for a card.
How much RAM can one server have?
Up to 50 GB. Memory is a pool shared by your servers, bought in 1 GB units at $1 each.
Where do the servers run?
France, Montreal, Oregon and Singapore, on FadeHost hardware, or on your own machine connected as a self-hosted node.
Are the prices the same everywhere?
Yes, in US dollars. Tax is added where your country requires it and shown at checkout before you pay.
