# Share a server with your staff

> Give other people access to a server without sharing your password: teams, the two access levels, and what each one can do.

Access to a server is given through a team, never by sharing a login.

## Set it up

1. **Teams** in the panel: create a team and invite people by email. They get their own accounts.
2. On the server, choose the **Team** from the server's menu and save. Everyone in the team sees the server in their panel.
3. Pick the access level for the team: **Operate** (view, logs, start, stop, restart, redeploy) or **Full** (also edit settings, files and secrets).

## Who gets what

| A builder who uploads maps and edits configs | Full |
| A co-owner | Full, and the billing stays with you |

Access is per server: a team can own several servers, and a server can be moved between teams.

## Good to know

- Billing, RAM and the subscription stay with the account that owns the servers. Team members cannot change the plan.
- Operators in the game are a separate thing: a moderator may run `kick` in game without any panel access. See [Make yourself an operator](/docs/make-yourself-op/).
- The activity log records who did what in the panel.
