Welcome to the new FadeHost Blog! This blog was created in order to better share and illustrate changes with the various FadeHost products. Before the blog was made, new changes were shared on our Discord server and the control panel notifications page separately, these formats were limited, and it was not possible for example to include videos or images in both of them. With the new blog we can write changelogs and provide images and videos all in one place and just share the link.
Here is a list of new things that were released in the past couple of weeks:
We have a brand new YouTube Channel where we will be posting tutorials and other interesting content. If you have any specific video requests please let us know. The first video on the channel is a tutorial video on how to set up the Velocity (BungeeCord) proxy that uses our private networking feature to establish a secure connection between all Minecraft servers.
There is a new chart on the Statistics -> Players page which shows how many in game chat messages were sent in a 1-minute interval. You can use this to gauge server activity.

There is a new word cloud type graph on the individual players profile page, this shows the most frequently used words for a given player.

There is a new 24-hour activity chart which shows in which hours of the day the player spends the most time online.

You can check which message an individual player sent on the players profile page, the history will be kept for 90 days. If you need to check if a player has sent a specific word for moderation purposes you can also filter the chat log now.
We try to have all the relevant server.properties settings on the control panel but in case you need to edit something specific we now allow you self-manage your properties file. Once you toggle this setting on the Settings -> Server page all the existing control panel settings will be hidden, and you will only be able to edit the settings by editing the file manually. No changes from the control panel will overwrite your server.properties file.
Our Login, Register, Reset Password and other authentication pages have received a dark mode upgrade.
In order to better accommodate all screen sizes the sidebars are now resizable. The width is stored locally on your browser or tablet so that you can have custom sizes on each device.
